About todo list

On weekends I often get more work done and enjoy it more without a todo list or a day plan. The thing that makes weekends feel free isn’t the absence of work. It’s the absence of a scorecard I can fail. What I dread on a Monday morning isn’t the work ahead, it’s waking up to a plan that is essentially a list of ways to fall short before the day has even started. The plan is the threat, not the tasks.
